The Wolf Creek Ski Resort has some of the best snowfall around, boasting 465+ inches every year, which is more than any other resort in Colorado. It’s snowfall is so impressive it features one of the longest ski seasons in the country, typically opening in October.
The family-oriented atmosphere and limited lift lines attract downhill skiers and snowboarders alike, and the 1600 acres of terrain are perfect for everyone from beginners to advanced skiers and boarders. Seven lifts give access to 77 trails, including 20% beginners, 35% intermediate, 25% advanced, and 20% for experts.
Wolf Creek also features individual and group ski classes for all levels, with students as young as 5. The Wolf Pup Center is designed for smaller children, whereas access to the “magic carpet,” Nova lift, and kid-friendly lodge are all great for youngsters to learn. The Hot Shots program is also available for adventurous kids aged 9-12 looking to explore the mountain. Adult lessons and clinics are also available at all levels.
